Tanners Hatch is a haven of peace and tranquility hidden in the woodland of the North Downs just outside Dorking in Surrey.
For Tanners 70th anniversary year there has been a frenzy of activity, digging out and sharing old photos, refreshing and digitising old recordings, oral history gathering, song and poem-writing, facebook ramblings and blackberry crumble making.
We are building this website in order to celebrate Tanners 70th and all the wonderful things that have come from Tanners over the years. We have started with a celebration of all the recorded music of Tanners Musicians. Eventually there will be other pages.
The website is work in progress. Chris Hunt from Leicester YHA group is the genius who has created the bare bones of the website and Nod has been populating it with content. Anyone interested in creating content, please do contact Nod.
